James Moore's debut has almost everything done by Moore including singing, producing and playing many instruments. He does it well too. His alternative rock sound is appealing and his songs lovely. "Head Down" is a catchy number with yearning vocals. "The Tower" is a poppy song that has a tremendeous energy in the chorus. "Ocean" is a sweet song with a nice folk twist.

Moore sings his heart out on this one. "Taking Time" is a grungy song with distorted guitars. "Dizzy" has a nice Beatles influenced feel and would be a hit if given a chance. All in all Firefly proves a valuable debut.
