Greg Panfile & Talk & Roll
Inferno
own label
Inferno is a concept album that somehow took seed and hold in Greg Panfile's mind
sometime in 1977 when a theater group called the Cambridge Ensemble planned to stage Dante's
'Inferno'. The concept is that hell is right here on earth, along with the means to escape
it...
The music is wonderfully textured rock, flavored with accordion, horns and more. Jackie
Chambers' delicious vocals mingle and intercourse with the music in lusciously intoxicating
ways! A concept album that took a while to be born and that should be placed ahead of some of
the current releases that enjoy so much unreserved success. Existential hell that manages to
expiate itself and life in order to "Exit" from the darkness into a brighter.....
something/tomorrow.
