Linda Perhacs
Parallelogram
Wild Places / Ace of Discs
Once in a while a CD comes across my CD player that somehow manages to
mesmerise me with its delicate beauty and frail elegance... Linda Perhacs'
Parallelogram is one of those rare discs that is as elegant and
exquisite as the perfumed night flower.
Linda's fragile voice is the antidote to a long stressful day when the
struggle with reality seems an everlosing battle. First released in 1970
(by Kapp), it was re-released in 1998 with considerable effort and loving
care by Michael Piper of the Wild Places. A fine album from a very (re)fine(d)
singer/songwriter who deserves a lot more than the anonymity of time. Thanks
Michael for all your efforts to preserve this magnificent album.
