The Lost Patrol
Driven
Self-released
The Lost Patrol return with another intriguing record of backward looking yet forward appealing music. Opener "Spinning" sees singer Mollie Israel at her most inspired
and the band playing a driven song.
"See You in Hell" is a sultry Cramps-like song that shows off the band's darker side in a good light. "Tell Me" is a cinematic number that allows Stephen Masucci and
Michael Williams to demonstrate their considerable talents. It's harking back to the sixties while remaning modern. "In Too Deep" is a dreamy girl-group opus with a sensitive
lead vocal and a tune to die for. Lost Patrol albums are always good, and this one might be their best yet.
