Amida follow a line of impressive EPs with another one that cements their reputation as a good indie band. As ever they play catchy indie music with an edge.

"A New Low" echoes nineties indie like Pavement with an angular tune and a laconic lead vocal. "Thank Constantine" is a ballad that nonetheless maintains the band's trademark sly sound. The singer delivers a cool vocal supported by a neat tune. "They Breathe Gas For Air, So We Lit A Match" is a callback to the grubby end of the shiny eighties and it works beautifully. The group recalls the Fall's spiky confrontational style. It's another neat EP.
