Angie Foster plays bright and up-tempo pop with enough edge to make it cool. She has a great voice for the genre, and pens some impressive songs.

"Way It Should Be" is a melodic confection with a chorus straight out of the realm of Blondie. "Not Sorry Now" is an up-tempo song about not looking back. Foster delivers an assured vocal and her musicians play along well. "Ordinary Day" is a soft ballad that she handles well. It's got a lovely piano part, and a nice lyric about finding bliss where you can. "Make it alright" has some jazzy touches that Foster thrives on and it makes for a great song. It's a very enjoyable album.
