Tracy Shedd Tracy Shedd follows an impressive album called Cigarettes and Smoke Machines with an equally deft EP. "How Your Eyes Affect Me" sees her singing in a lovely yet urgent voice to a soft melody that aligns her with early Suzanne Vega. "Tokyo Rose" is more up-tempo and sees Shedd sigh, "It's so easy not to give yourself". It has a peculiar beauty all its own. "Husbands & Wives" closes the EP on a good note, Shedd singing in her fashion about some interesting things to a soft backing. It's an astonishing EP and one that wets the appetite for more by Shedd.
