Lawrence Lebo makes a kind of jazz music with a cool vocal delivery on this classy effort. "On Tome" has some splendid bass playing alongside Lebo's relaxed delivery. "It's not the first time" continues sounding cool as can be with a backbone that's pure class. Lebo's song about a cheating man is great. "Rose, Rose" is a tribute to her dog who passed away. She sings it with poised regret and a lovely sense of timing.

"I Should Care" is another song given an artful, strong reading. Lebo's clearly onto something with this album.
