Mary Kaye makes what she calls "indie kids' music" and very good it is too. She makes easy to like and insanely catchy tracks sung in a warm voice that recalls Juliana Hatfield at times. Thus we get songs where she sings of Robbie Robot, The Hot Chocolate Fairy, and the Hobbly Dobbly House. Needless to say if you're a parent this will be a good record to get the kids into. If you're not you might still appreciate these clever and fun songs done very nicely.

The musicians play art the top of their game and Kaye is cool as a cucumber and then some.
