Nathanaël Larochette records under the alias Musk Ox. His debut under the name is four, long, slow pieces of what he calls "neofolk". It's a name as good as any for these songs.

"Jardin un bout du monde" features stunningly played guitar and the chirp of crickets. Larochette sings a bit in a mournful tone that fits in well. "Entre la terre et le ciel" is the longest piece here and one that really lets Larochette show his mastery of the form. The sound of rain is woven into the languid song and allows for a naturalistic feel. He shows much promise on this album and his future works should be something worth hearing. He could rival a lot of his contemporaries in the genre as it is.
