Artist Lunabee and Ilya singer Joanna Swan have joined forces on this record. The results are mystifying and atmospheric and always lovely.

"I Died In The Arms Of Glory" pitches operatic wails against Swan's half-spoken lead to great effect. "The Great Illusion" is suitably cinematic with a throbbing beat behind it. "Smoke Rings" goes for bluesier strains and oddly resembles Yazoo. The brassy vocals and the backing make it work. "Mona" is soft and shows off Swan's lovely vocals.

Lunabee and Swan have a great partnership and I hope they stick with it.
