With all the press that Band of Horses have been getting, everyone talking so much about singles "The Funeral" and "The Great Salt Lake", I just needed to take this space to say, uh, "The First Song" is easily, EASILY the greatest song on this record. And not only that, it is also easily the best song to have come out the first half of this year. I can't imagine liking a song more this whole year. Not even that wonderful Lily Allen song tops it.

"Cutting us off/Knowing not/Why".
