Anders Remner makes up Dub Tractor and this is his fifth album under that moniker. His brand of calm, introspective electronica is very pleasant. "I Woke Up" is a half-asleep reverie with distant beats and vocals. "Much better than this" is as ethereal as anything gets. Blips and odd sounds give it an air of being recorded under water. A sense of aquatic isolation forms. "Begin and End" is folktronica with a pastoral mood but a very modern execution. It sounds as placid as a spring morning. "Droplets" is hazy psychedelica that borders on My Bloody Valentine's soundworld. Remner's clearly onto something with this lovely album.
